Version 1. Updated on [april 27, 2023]
These terms and conditions of use ("TyC") regulate the access, registration and use of the Hügga application called ("the Platform") and which you can access by entering the website, by natural personal users ("Users") and the services that we offer you through it.
For all legal purposes of these TyC, the applicable law will be Chilean law, with the city and commune of Santiago de Chile being established as the domicile and the parties, that is, Hügga and the Users, submitting to the jurisdiction of their Ordinary Courts of Justice.
By accepting these TyC, you expressly declare that:
Likewise, by accepting these TyC, you agree that they will be understood to be incorporated into each of the acts, contracts and transactions that you carry out through the Platform.
Finally, if your employer has invited you to use the Platform, we ask you to review with special attention the section entitled "What implications does it have for my employer to be part of the beta version of the Platform?"
What is the purpose of the Platform?
The Platform is an application that seeks to help you expand your professional network. Our idea is that with the information you provide us, we can help you connect with companies, job offers, and other Users that could fit your profile considering the information we collect about you.
In this context, and to achieve part of the objectives of this Platform, there will also be companies that can use the Platform ("the Companies"), which may include your employer, to whom we could share your profile in accordance with these TyC and our Privacy Policy.
Registration and use of the Platform is free for Users. However, in the future, we may implement premium services or functionalities that will be subject to an additional fee, which will be duly informed to you prior to their hiring.
How can you be a user of the Platform?
To use our Platform and become a User, you must create an account on the Platform ("the Account"). There are two main ways in which you can start the process of creating your Account:
To create your Account, you have two options: enter the "Create Account" section and then you will have the option to use LinkedIn or Google to do so. By using one of these options, your registration data is communicated directly from the third-party service provider to Hügga (full name, email, and profile picture).
Before finalizing the registration process, you must accept these TyC and our Privacy Policy, which regulates the way in which we collect and use your personal data in the context of the Platform. You will not be able to complete the registration process without accepting both documents.
You must maintain confidentiality of the data associated with your Account and not disclose your password to third parties. If you become aware of or suspect that your Account has been subject to improper appropriation, you must immediately inform [email protected]. You will be responsible for activities carried out through your Account that result from the breach of this obligation, and Hügga may suspend any Account that incurs in a breach of the above.
